$6m in mining equipment project funding

An application process has begun for $6 million in project funding to be awarded to mining equipment, technology and services (METS) businesses which foster collaboration and innovation.

This is the third tranche of funding from the METS Ignited Collaborative Project Fund, which the Australian Government has provided $15.6m over four years as part of the Industry Growth Centre Project Fund, which is designed to incentivise collaboration and address sector priorities.

Companies who participate in the mining supply chain are invited to submit a short application form in order to be considered for a portion of the funding.

For the third tranche of funding, METS Ignited is placing an emphasis on projects in the areas of robotics and automation.

Applications are open until 31 August 2018. Further information can be found at metsignited.org.
