Big changes for the Australian Bulk Handling Review

Australia’s leading bulk handling magazine and website, Australian Bulk Handling Review (ABHR), is now under new ownership.

ABHR is now part of Australia’s leading business-to-business publisher Prime Creative Media.

Recognised as the bulk handling industry’s only dedicated magazine, website and news platform, ABHR has an enviable reputation as the authority on bulk handling in industries including mining, quarrying, processing, agriculture, shipping and manufacturing.

ABHR will now join Australia’s leading industrial titles including Australian Mining, Food and Beverage Industry News, Manufacturing Monthly, Logistics and Materials Handling, Process and Control Engineering, and Waste Management Review.

The highly regarded editorial team of Paula Wallace and Oliver Probert will remain at the helm with the addition of new business development manager Zelda Tupicoff who will head up commercial operations and account management.

Ms Tupicoff is a rising star in the world of publishing as an experienced executive and former CEO for Great Southern Press.

“Zelda’s appointment to ABHR is a clear indication that the bulk handling sector is a priority and the title is of major significance for Prime Creative Media,” said Prime Creative Media Managing Director John Murphy.

“I am looking forward to getting to know our valued clients and ensuring we continue to serve the bulk handling industry,” said Ms Tupicoff. “Prime Creative Media will continue to invest in these products and continue developing them to meet the needs of this market. The title has an exciting future in store and I look forward to making a major contribution.”

Prime Creative Media is a multi-platform media organisation dedicated to growing individuals, organisations and industries.

A specialist in the industrial sectors, Prime Creative Media is renowned for its innovative and results driven approach to publishing, print, digital platforms, and events that connect clients with key industry decision makers.

Prime Creative Media formally acquired ABHR, and sister publication Rail Express, from former owner Mohi Media, on July 2, 2018.

“Australian Bulk Handling Review and Rail Express are highly regarded publications in their industries,” Mr Murphy said. “They come to us with a strong, engaged readership and qualified databases. We look forward to continuing to grow the key relationships within the industries these products serve.”

Mr Murphy said he is equally excited to welcome some very talented people to the company, crediting Mohi Media founder Michael Mohi and his team for doing an incredible job of rebuilding these print and digital products.

“I couldn’t be happier with the new home for these titles,” Mr Mohi said. “Prime Creative Media and Mohi Media share similar values and ways of doing business, with a focus on growing individuals, organisations, and industries.”
